LSP diagnostics not working on Windows

Describe the bug
LSP diagnostic errors don't show up in neither VS Code, nor in Goland.

Expected behavior
I expect an error to be visible when I use a variable that is not declared in a scope.

Screenshots

The variable ajwskerf is clearly not declared, but is not underlined, and the IDE shows no problems about the file. Same thing happens in VS Code.

Additional context

In the logs this line occurs:

Seems, as if it was unable to find the file in the source map cache. I don't know if it's a logging issue, but in the log, that says the cache is being set, the file's uri contains c%3A instead of c:. Could be the issue.

Hi @koppa96 Thanks for raising the issue plus the additional investgiagion.

I do think you are correct, it's to do with the URI escaping..

I don't have a windows machine currently setup to test this out, but I've created a branch that may help. I spotted that the initial file walk failed, so try this: go install github.com/a-h/templ/cmd/templ@uri-parsing

Thanks so much for the update! Very certain its about the URIs not being handled the same way by templ and gopls in windows. Causing slight differences meaning templ can't keep track!

I've created a PR #1122 that runs our test suite on windows too, which surfaced a few errors in the test, but should help us diagnose this a bit easier.

The problem is not only that uri is not decoded by server but also:

• vscode sends lowercase disk name(like c:/) but gopls makes it uppercase(https://github.com/golang/tools/blob/7ba8f32e3a2b3e3b7beada9afd1c0b2063bda535/gopls/internal/protocol/uri.go#L192-L198)
• it's not possible to make url simply by concatenating file:// and path, URIFromPath has to be used
