DavEx as a service vs an addon

[Henaga]

What differences/advantages exist between using Nzb DavEx as a service vs an addon? Currently I have it setup as a service using the Nzb Dav preset, however I see there is a marketplace addon for it now as well, which is what triggered this question. I understand that DavEx has added new features to the original Dav project, however I'm not totally knowledgeable enough to understand what it all means for stremio via aiostreams.

I also have nzbhydra set up as an addon that uses Nzb DavEx as a service, so I'd assume that it would eliminate the need for nzbhydra as an addon. However other than this, I'm curious about what I'm missing out on by not using it as an addon, if anything.

It’s all good but you’re better off asking in the davex or aios discords:

Davex

AIOS

You won’t find anything about it here and it’s a little difficult to explain.

thanks! i didnt know that DavEx had a discord

i assumed that the question was a little too aiostreams-centric to bother DavEx for, but ill head over to the discord and see if i can find an explanation now
