Repository Maintenance Status & Contributor Offer #11

Description

@angelxmoreno

Background

I'm building an educational Shakespeare study application and discovered this excellent repository with well-structured HTML versions of Shakespeare's plays. The format and organization are exactly what we need for educational purposes.

Current Concern

I notice there are several pull requests from ~2 years ago addressing typos and text corrections (e.g., #10 , #8 ) that remain unmerged. This raises questions about the current maintenance status of the repository.

Questions

  1. Is this repository actively maintained? If so, are there plans to review and merge the pending typo fixes?

  2. Are you looking for additional maintainers? I'd be happy to help with:

    • Reviewing and merging typo/correction PRs
    • General repository maintenance
    • Quality assurance for educational accuracy

My Use Case

I'm developing a Shakespeare study app for students and teachers, and text accuracy is critical for educational integrity. This repository's structure is ideal, but I want to ensure we're using the most accurate versions available.

Offer to Help

If you're open to additional contributors with merge privileges, I'd be glad to help maintain this valuable resource. I have experience with:

  • Educational content quality assurance
  • Git/GitHub workflow management
  • Text accuracy verification

Thanks for creating and sharing this resource with the community!

Note: If this repository is no longer actively maintained, please let me know so I can consider alternative approaches while still acknowledging and respecting the excellent work done here.
