"Backed up UserCfg.Opt file found" #285

Are you on the latest AutoFPS version v0.5.4.2? If not, earlier app versions did not protect against the user making the Usercfg.opt file read-only (which you should not do BTW, as MSFS expects that file to be writeable - back it up yourself instead if you are worried about losing settings), so you should update to the latest version. Are you shutting MSFS down properly per the message? If not, you are potentially corrupting your Usercfg.opt file, hence the warning is valid and I am very reluctant to allow it to be muted ie. stop doing this. If you are shutting MSFS down correctly, by going to back to the main menu from a flight then selecting Quit to Desktop then clicking OK, then there is possibly a bug I need to resolve. To that end, can you please attach your latest log file, located in %appdata%\MSFS_AutoFPS, where this happens and I will take a look. |

Hi,
I'm getting this warning every time I open AutoFPS:
I always hit "No" as I don't even really know why it's there every time and I don't have any issues or constantly fiddling with UserCfg.
I know MSFS can be a bit rough when closing everything properly etc. but is there a way to just mute or deactivate this warning? it' pretty annoying to have it every time, especially since I autostart AutoFPS with the sim...
