Suggestion: Set Arg Default keyword

I just watched the DB Library update @ robocon 2026, firstly nice work with the updates 👍

I have a suggestion to have a keyword something like Set Arg Default that people could use to set the default values for these new arguments like replace_robot_variables, split, external_parser, retry_timeout, etc

if you are running multiple SQL queries, it would be useful to set the default values for these arguments once rather than having to over-ride them every time.

Also being able to adjust these defaults on import would be good as well.

I think it might make sense to add import parameters with default values for the replace_robot_variables and the retry_timeout arguments.
And maybe for the external_parser argument as well - although it's default value would probably become True in future.

But not for the split argument - it is used in two keywords only and has different default values by default.

my suggestion was as an addition to import parameters rather than instead of.

import parameters are great for setting the default value for all test cases, but sometimes you want different default values for a specific test case or set of test cases.

Sometimes you want to set the default value, run several queries.

I know with other libraries I've had issues when a default value could only be set on import, and you need to override the default on every keyword call, this becomes more of a problem if the libraries keyword is in a user defined keyword as now you need to pass the override value into the user defined keyword.

Basically my suggestion is to give the users flexibility on how to set the defaults .
